A systematic review and meta-analysis of the efficacy of ketamine compared to electroconvulsive therapy for treatment-resistant depression.

Abstract

Background: Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) has long been considered the main method of treatment for patients with resistant major depressive disorder (MDD).
