Guangxi Medicine (CN45-1122/R, ISSN 0253-4304) is a comprehensive medical academic journal under the supervision of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Health Commission, sponsored by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Institute of Medical Science and Information, and publicly issued at home and abroad. In the 50 years since its founding, Guangxi Medicine has been an important reference for the autonomous region’s people’s government and the autonomous region’s health commission to make medical and health decisions and management. It is an important think tank for health managers, scientific researchers, and clinical workers, and an important platform for technological innovation and achievement collection. At present, Guangxi Medicine has been included in the list of “China’s Core Science and Technology Journals” of the China Institute of Scientific and Technical Information for 15 consecutive years, and has been selected for the Q1 zone of the “Annual Report on the Impact Factor of Chinese Academic Journals (Natural Science and Engineering Technology Edition)” for 5 consecutive years. The total number of citations has reached one million times, and the impact factor ranks among the top comprehensive medical academic journals of the same type. It has been rated as an “Excellent Science and Technology Journal” and “Top Ten Science and Technology Journals” by government departments many times.
