Systems Engineering (bimonthly) was founded in June 1983, and after two trial issues agreed by the leadership of Hunan Provincial Party Committee, it was officially approved by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee on 23 January 1984 to be founded by the Hunan Systems Engineering Society and openly circulated to the whole country. The journal has a number of professional columns, including Theory and Review, Logistics Systems Engineering, Financial Systems Engineering, Socio-Economic Systems Engineering, Ecological Systems Engineering, Traffic Systems Engineering, Information Systems and Management, Systems Engineering Methods and Applications, etc. The journal adheres to the orientation of quality and professionalism, the pursuit of academic quality and innovation, the cultivation of academic talents, the strict implementation of academic norms and ethics, and the practice of The journal has implemented the system of ‘three reviews and three proofreads’ and anonymous review system.
