Journal of Hohai University (Philosophy and Social Science Edition) is an academic journal of humanities and social sciences sponsored by Hohai University. Founded in 1999, it is a bimonthly journal published at the end of every fortnight and openly circulated both at home and abroad. The journal mainly publishes research results in humanities and social sciences such as Marxist theory, ethics of science and technology and philosophy of engineering, sociology, economics, management, environmental law. The journal can be read and referred to by researchers, managers, teachers and students of colleges and universities in related professions, as well as people from all walks of life who love humanities and social sciences. Journal of Hohai University (Philosophy and Social Science Edition) adheres to the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Important Thought of the Three Represents and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, paying attention to the traditional disciplines and basic theories, and paying special attention to the cross-penetration and comprehensive research of applied disciplines, fringe disciplines, emerging disciplines as well as the cross-penetration and comprehensive research among various disciplines. cross-penetration and comprehensive research among them, in order to promote the combination of Marxist theories and theories of various disciplines with the practice of modernisation and construction in China. 《河海大学学报(哲学社会科学版)》是一本由河海大学主办的人文社科类学术期刊。本刊创刊于1999年，为双月刊，每双月末出版，国内外公开发行。该刊主要刊登马克思主义理论、科技伦理与工程哲学、社会学、经济学、管理学、环境法学等人文社会科学方面的研究成果。本刊可供有关专业的研究人员、管理人员、大专院校师生以及热爱人文社会科学的各界人士阅读和参考。《河海大学学报(哲学社会科学版)》坚持以马列主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，关注传统学科、基础理论研究，特别注重应用学科、边缘学科、新兴学科以及各学科之间的交叉渗透和综合研究，以推进马克思主义理论和各学科的理论与我国现代化建设实践的结合。 《河海大学学报(哲学社会科学版)》也是中文社会科学引文索引(CSSCI)来源期刊，“2018年度中国人文社会科学期刊AMI综合评价”A刊核心期刊，入编《中文核心期刊要目总览》（2017年版），人大复印报刊资料重要转载来源期刊、RCCSE中国核心学术期刊，第五届全国百强社科学报，中国学术期刊综合评价数据库来源期刊，获第三届江苏省新闻出版政府奖等重要奖项。该刊已被“中国期刊网”“中国数字化期刊群”“中国期刊网”“中文科技期刊数据库”和“超新数字图书馆”等广泛收录和引用，是《中国学术期刊(光盘版)》首批入编期刊。
