Chinese Journal of Oncology Prevention and Treatment mainly reports on new theories, new achievements, new technologies and new experiences in basic theoretical research and clinical application of tumor prevention and treatment, and has columns such as reviews, expert forums, basic research, clinical research, epidemiological research, reviews and case reports. The readers are scientific researchers and clinical medical workers engaged in tumor prevention and treatment, teachers and students of higher medical colleges and universities, and scientific and technological personnel of other related disciplines. It strives to serve the clinical, scientific research and teaching of tumors, and to provide a professional and fast academic platform for further promoting and prospering academic exchanges on tumors in my country. Chinese Journal of Oncology Prevention and Treatment has been included in the "Chinese Science and Technology Core Journals (Chinese Science and Technology Paper Statistical Source Journals)", "Wanfang Data System Science and Technology Journal Group", "Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database", "Chinese Biomedical Journal Literature Database", "China Journal Network and Chinese Academic Journals (CD-ROM Edition)", "American Chemical Abstracts (CA)", "American Ulrich's International Journal Guide" and "JST Japan Science and Technology Agency Database".

《中国癌症防治杂志》主要报道肿瘤防治的基础理论研究和临床应用的新理论、新成果、新技术及新经验等，辟有述评、专家论坛、基础研究、临床研究、流行病学研究、综述及病例报告等栏目。以从事肿瘤防治的科研和临床医务工作者、高等医药院校师生及其他相关学科的科技人员为读者对象，努力为肿瘤临床、科研和教学服务，为进一步促进和繁荣我国肿瘤学术交流提供一个专业、快速的学术平台。 《中国癌症防治杂志》已被“中国科技核心期刊（中国科技论文统计源期刊）”“万方数据系统科技期刊群”“中国学术期刊综合评价数据库”“中文生物医学期刊文献数据库”“中国期刊网和中国学术期刊（光盘版）”“美国《化学文摘》（CA）”“美国《乌利希国际期刊指南》”和“JST日本科学技术振兴机构数据库”等收录。
