Abstract

Microwave radiation of a gyrotron, during its interaction with powder mixtures, initiates plasma-chemical exothermic processes in air in which components of the initial powder mixture participate. In the experiments performed, use is made of bismuth ferrite (\({\text{BiFe}}{{{\text{O}}}_{3}}\)) nanopowders with a particle size of 40–50 nm, which are transformed into spheroid microparticles with a size up to 100 μm and a complicated structure and surface morphology.
