A circuit-oriented average-value model of modular multilevel converter based on sub-module modelling method 基于子模块建模方法的模块化多电平变换器面向电路的平均值模型

The modular multilevel converters (MMCs) are attractive for high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system. However, due to the complicated structure of MMC, which normally consist of thousands of sub-modules, how to accurately and efficiently model the MMCs is one of the key technical challenges. In this paper, based on sub-module modelling method, a circuit-oriented average-value model of MMC involving switching-cycle averaging is proposed. Different from traditional MMC model, which is based on the modelling of converter bridge and the dynamic performance of the sub-modules in which is ignored, for the proposed model in this paper the chopper-cells are replaced by controlled voltage and current sources. As a result, the proposed model can not only accelerate simulation speed but also describe the characteristics of sub-modules, such as the dynamic voltage-balancing process of sub-module capacitors. Then static synchronous compensator based on the modular multilevel converters (MMC-STATCOM) is simulated in PSIM simulations. Both the circuit-oriented average-value model and switching model are established to simulate the steady state of the system, as well as the procedures of one sub-module failure and transient of AC current command. The validity, rapidity, accuracy, intuitiveness and compatible reconfiguration of the presented model are well verified by simulations.

ARINC664 bus function test and its fault injection based on Ethernet card 基于以太网卡的ARINC664总线功能测试及其故障注入

Aviation bus is the communication highway for the airborne terminal systems. ARINC 664 is the new generation of aviation bus standard. Compared with the former ARINC 429 bus, it uses Virtual Links to replace the electric cables. The Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX) is built on the protocol of ARINC 664. The communication function of ARINC 664 should be tested before application. This paper introduces a PXI-based ARINC 664 bus test system using C# language and NI Measurement Studio. The hardware includes a PXI-1042 case, a PXI-8115 controller and a PXI-C664 simulation card. Considering the AFDX and Ethernet have the similar basic structure, we use Ethernet card to analyze the data frames of AFDX. Using the Ethernet card of PXI-8115, the data frames can be extracted from the AFDX. After analyzing the structure of the frames, fault frames can be generated to test the communication function of AFDX. Some fault frames are injected into the network. The test results have shown that the ARINC 664 bus function test based on Ethernet card is practicable.

Research on control characteristics of PWM rectifier with RC-IGBT RC-IGBT PWM整流器控制特性研究

PWM rectifiers used in the vehicle power and the distributed power generation have higher requirements on the power density and the reliability. Compared with the traditional IGBT module, the reverse-conducting insulated-gate bipolar transistor (RC-IGBT) of the same package has lower thermal resistance and higher current tolerance. By using the gate of RC-IGBT to control the desaturation characteristic of the diode, the reverse recovery loss can be reduced. In the paper, an improved predictive current control method is studied to improve the output characteristics of the single-phase PWM rectifier with low switching frequency. Then through studying the desaturation control characteristics of the RC-IGBT's diode gate, we have achieved the control strategy of the gate pulse of the four switching devices of the single-phase full bridge circuit. At last, the improved predictive current control algorithm applied to the PWM rectifier of RC-IGBT based on the desaturation characteristic of the diode has been simulated, and tested on a small power platform. The results prove that the desaturation control of the improved predictive current control algorithm can effectively control RC-IGBT and realize the stable output of the PWM rectifier.

Mruby—rapid IoT software development language 快速物联网软件开发语言

Embedded systems are systems in which hardware and software are closely linked. In the embedded system, the software controls the hardware. We focused on Ruby which is an object-oriented programming language and scripting language to improve development efficiency of embedded systems. We developed mruby which applied Ruby for embedded systems, and this overview is described in this paper. mruby provides the real-time and hardware access functions required by embedded systems.

Extended-state-observer-based output feedback sliding mode control of inertial stabilized platform 基于扩展状态观测器的惯性稳定平台输出反馈滑模控制

Inertial stabilized platforms are extensively utilized to achieve high-precision pointing of optical axis in spite of vehicle motion or vibration. This paper develops an output feedback sliding mode control strategy for the inertial stabilized platform. The dynamic model taking into account various disturbed phenomena is established first. Not only the unknown state but also the lumped uncertainty is effectively estimated by extended state observer and brought into the sliding mode controller design. With the Lyapunov function technique, the tracking error of the inertial angular rate is verified to converge to an arbitrarily small region by adjusting certain control parameters. Furthermore, the switching gain is only required to be chosen to restrain the uncertainty caused by states estimation errors rather than disturbance itself, which substantially alleviates the chattering phenomenon. Comparative simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed method in two typical operation mode.

Traffic sign recognition based on SVM and convolutional neural network 基于支持向量机和卷积神经网络的交通标志识别

In this paper, we propose a traffic sign recognition algorithm based on support vector machine (SVM) and convolutional neural network (CNN) for the traffic sign recognition of intelligent transportation and unmanned vehicle. In the detection of traffic signs, by using color features, firstly we convert the RGB color space to HSV color space, which can get the regions of interest (ROI). Then extract the Histogram of Oriented Gradient (HOG) features, and determine whether it is traffic sign by support vector machine (SVM). This algorithm can successfully detect traffic signs with a high detecting rate. The following is the classification of the detected traffic signs, by using a kind of convolutional neural network, which fuse the RGB information of a picture. In the end, the ‘German traffic signs’ dataset is used to verify the accuracy. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively recognize traffic signs, achieving high accuracy and the algorithm complexity is lower.

A dual-asymmetric PWM control strategy for full bridge DC-DC converters 全桥DC-DC变换器的双非对称PWM控制策略

This paper analyzes the dual-asymmetric PWM (DAPWM) control strategy for conventional DC-DC converters with a diode rectifier in the secondary side. The DAPWM has two degrees of freedom to control the transferring power, which can improve the performance of the converter than single-phase-shift (SPS) control strategy. Also it is easier to implement than the dual-phase-shift (DPS) and triple-phase-shift (TPS). The operating principles, waveforms in different modes and the expressions for power transfer are presented in detail in this paper. The theoretical analysis and calculation are validated through simulation and experimental test.

The design and application of multi-sensor data fusion in open system architecture of avionics 航空电子开放系统体系结构中多传感器数据融合的设计与应用

To meet the pressing needs of developments in avionics and military capability, in this paper, an application instance of fundamental multi-radars data fusion based on Kalman filtering to open system architecture platform of avionics is proposed and carried out. The multi-radar data fusion process scheme is designed in four core modules: coordinate conversion module, data compressing module, the nearest neighbor algorithm module and Kalman filtering algorithm module. Based on the open system architecture and relevant hierarchical design, the application platform of data fusion system is built up. A friendly radar stimulation man-machine interface is designed to vividly show the whole radar detection process and achieve the data detection targets. Finally, the data fusion process is successfully applied in open system architecture and efficiently realizes the real-time tasks. Detailed data fusion results are shown in several broken line graphs.

Design of a compliant joint actuator for lower-limb exoskeleton robot 下肢外骨骼机器人柔性关节驱动器的设计

For the rigid actuators of conventional exoskeletons are prone to produce motion impact and jitter, so this paper presents a novel design of compliant joint actuator for solve this situation. For the patient with lower limb disability lose the force perception will lead to them can't perceive the movement impact of the exoskeleton, which can reduce the rehabilitation effect or may cause secondary damage to the wearer. The new areas of robotic actuation have been established that requires more versatile structure. The design of new joint actuator adds compliant mechanism in motion transmission part which has a buffer effect to inhibit the external impacts and shocks, and can measure the output torque of the actuator. And in this paper, the detailed design of the exoskeleton structure is proposed based on the concept of compliant actuator. The content of this paper focuses on the mechanism design of the device and makes finite element simulation in ANSYS. Finally, simulation results of the compliant mechanism can describe the design for new actuator which aims at providing a more friendly interaction than existing exoskeleton actuator.

Novel delay-dependent robust stability criteria of hopfield neural networks with time-varying delay 时变时滞hopfield神经网络的鲁棒稳定性新准则

This paper investigates the robust stability problem of Hopfield neural networks(HNNs) with time-varying delay. Two novel LMI-based delay-dependent robust stability criteria are obtained by constructing appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. This new criteria based on the free-weighting matrices approach prove to be less conservativeness, which not only retain any useful terms in the derivative of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, but also consider the relationship among the time-delay, its upper bound and their difference. Finally, some numerical examples are given to demonstrate its merits and effectiveness of the proposed methods.
研究了时变时滞Hopfield神经网络的鲁棒稳定性问题。通过构造合适的Lyapunov-Krasovskii泛函,得到了两个新的基于lmi的时滞相关鲁棒稳定性判据。该方法不仅保留了Lyapunov-Krasovskii泛函导数中有用的项,而且考虑了时滞、其上界及其差之间的关系,具有较低的保守性。最后通过数值算例验证了所提方法的优点和有效性。
