Analysis of Half Circular F Slot Multiband Microstrip Antenna with Defected Ground Structure 带缺陷接地结构的半圆F槽多带微带天线分析

A half circular F slot multiband microstrip patch antenna (MSA) with defected ground structure (DGS) presented through this paper. The dimension of proposed antenna is 39.6 × 24.6 × 1.6 mm3 for two different substrate materials (Fr-4 andTeflon). The performance analysis of proposed antenna characteristics such as return loss, VSWR and radiation pattern has simulated using ANSoft HFSS. This antenna has resonated at frequencies 3.4 GHz, 6GHz and 8.25 GHz with impedance bandwidth 2.35%,2.58% and 3.15% respectively lies in S, C and X band for Teflon base substrate, and resonated at frequencies 2.5 GHz, 4.45 GHz, 5.15 GHz and 6.15 GHz operated with impedance bandwidth3.2%, 4.26%, 2.52% and 3.98% in S and C bands respectively for Fr-4 substrate.

Optimal Path in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks with Differential Evolution 差分演化下移动Ad-hoc网络的最优路径

In this paper differential evolution is applied to solve optimum path issues for data transmission from source to destination in mobile ad-hoc networks. The differential evolution based optimization model used to analyze and establish best available optimal path in mobile ad-hoc networks. The model keep transmission cost into consideration to search for minimum cost consumption path. The differential evolution algorithm is utilized as a search tool, to search for minimum transmission consumption through established optimization model. Finally results acquired by proposed algorithm clearly reveal the effectiveness, in contrast to evolutionary algorithm PSO and GA.

Effectiveness of Processing Gain on Optical Interleave Division Multiple Access with Zero Dispersion Fiber using Tree Inter-leaver 零色散光纤交错分多址中树状交织器处理增益的有效性

In present article, the qualitative analysis of an optical Inter-leave division multiple access (IDMA) system is observed with the help of processing gain and data length. The processing gain and spread length both are similar and this is the efficient parameter of direct sequence spread spectrum communication. IDMA system, a multiuser arrangement where users are divided by single inter-leaver sequence is on the horizon of wireless communication world. IDMA receiver contains a chip by chip iterative multiuser detection that possess low complexity turbo-like iterative receivers. In IDMA the distinction between different users is achieved by reordering the bits. There are several parameters which affects the quality transmission in IDMA, some are coding gain, multiuser gain and processing gain. By varying any of above parameters the performance will change. In present article processing gain is varied and its effect on IDMA has been observed. The number of users is increasing and its effect on BER (bit error rate) for different processing gain is observed on MATLAB.

Interoperability Framework for Wireless Standards-Performance Analysis 无线标准互操作性框架-性能分析

The prospective of interoperability and intercommunity mobility by exploiting Long Term Evolution (LTE) among various wireless communications standard is studied in this paper. The main focus of this research is to discover a method that can amalgamate different access technologies ensuring smooth migration to LTE without trading service continuity and also that maximizes the usage of infrastructure of the existing network. Among the different interoperability metrics, the most essential metric is the latency. In this work, with the aid of NS2 simulator, it is demonstrated that for homogeneous setting, LTE (4G) results in low latency than other wireless generations. From our study it is inferred that handover latency for GPRS and IEEE 802.11b is found to be 4s while for IEEE 802.16e it is 3s. Further, for IEEE 802.16j the handover latency is 1s.

Similarity Detection in Biological Sequences using Parameterized Matching and Q-gram 基于参数化匹配和Q-gram的生物序列相似性检测

Whenever characterization of a new DNA sequence takes place then, database search is carried out to find whether homolog’s of gene is present or not. Various evolutions in this field have marked the shift from exact matching to a completely different concept, parameterized matching. Parameterized matching is detected by consistent renaming of text and pattern using bijective mapping. While finding matches between pattern and text, the PBMH-Hash algorithm results in frequent occurrence of false matches with large number of character comparison. This paper presents a new algorithm to detect similarity in biological sequences. The proposed algorithm is based on the concept of Berry-Ravindran algorithm and q-Gram. Analysis shows that our algorithm outperforms existing PBMH-Hash algorithm.

A Wireless Sensor Node Based Efficient Parking Slot Availability Detection System For Smart Cities 基于无线传感器节点的智慧城市高效车位可用性检测系统

In the past ten years, advancement in technology has been a great importance for Smart Cities. The concept of smart parking system is revolutionizing in the smart cities. Internet of Things (IoT) provides an efficient smart parking system in smart cities. The current smart cities have limited parking slots which are not managed effectively. Due to unavailability of accurate information about parking lots, drivers have to face inconvenience and traffic congestion on roads. This factor motivated us to develop an effective parking slot availability detection system for smart cities. In this paper, we proposed a solution that utilizes the wireless sensor node (combination of Ultrasonic Sensor and Wi-Fi technology) to detect the movement of the car at the entry and exit level of parking lot. The information is collected dynamically and updated in our cloud database. A mobile application is also developed for checking the parking slot availability in a nearby location. The real-time information of the slot vacancy can be dynamically sent through an android mobile application. The proposed solution deploys a wireless sensor node on the site for providing accurate information for driver’s requests. Finally, the working functionality of our proposed solution is developed as a prototype and illustrated as a working model.

Detection, counting and analysis of biological cells is an important aspect in health care systems for which a microfluidic impedance flow cytometers have been globally accepted to measure the dielectric parameters of micro cells/particles at high speed. The cells/particles are allowed through a micro-channel having planar bottom electrodes. DC voltage is applied and output of the microfluidic device is recorded through necessary signal conditioning circuit and data acquisition system. In the present work, polystyrene particles of 10μm diameter flowing in medium of phosphate buffered saline having conductivity of 0.156Sm−1 are analyzed to successfully demonstrate the efficacy of the flow cytometer.

Security Aspect in Instant Mobile Messaging Applications 即时移动通讯应用中的安全问题

Instant mobile messaging applications are one of the most popular applications for communication between the users. The applications initiates’ message sending via internet, making it cost free for the users. Sending of messages can be in any form either a text message or it can initiate voice call. Almost all of these applications offer different built in features which makes the apps appealing to the user but in majority of cases, the app developer’s neglect security feature of their usage. Security as one of the important factor plays a vital role for measuring quality of mobile applications. So, it’s important to identify level of security services provided by these apps. This research paper presents a study on current security features of popular instant mobile messaging applications and also discusses the reason to focus more on security aspects for improving the overall quality of these applications.

A Novel Segmentation Technique for Urdu Type-Written Text 一种新的乌尔都语文本分词技术

Text segmentation is a process of subdividing the text image into its constituent parts, such as text lines, words and isolated characters. It is the first module in design of Optical character recognition systems. The problem of automatic text segmentation algorithms is increasingly becoming an important issue. Major problems arise due to the lack of standard dataset, a wide diversity of objectives and a lack of meaningful quantitative evaluation. In this paper a new technique is proposed that segments Urdu type written text into text lines on the basis of edges information of connected components. The performance of this technique is tested over the benchmark data set using precision and recall metric with accuracy of 87.36% and 84.75% respectively. Also data set collection, compilation and organization is a part of this research.
