Correction technique for velocity and position error of inertial navigation system by celestial observations 利用天文观测修正惯性导航系统速度和位置误差的技术

The residual sensor errors and misalignment of an inertial navigation system cause deviation from the true navigation solution. The navigation errors grow as function of time, sensor errors and vehicle dynamics. A celestial aided inertial navigation system (INS), carried on a space vehicle, has to rely on the independent INS output until the vehicle gets out of the dense atmospheric layer. The misalignment and gyro drift then can be corrected employing techniques for in-flight alignment by celestial observations. The accelerometer bias can be detected and compensated after the burn out point. Subsequent contribution to navigation error due to misalignment and sensor errors thus can be restricted. The accumulated velocity and position errors, however, cannot be directly determined from celestial observations and the knowledge of accelerometer bias. A technique for velocity and position error computation is presented. Simulations for strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS), mechanized in space stabilized reference frame, are carried out. Tremendous improvement in navigation accuracy is observed

On Cooley-Tukey FFT method for zero padded signals 补零信号的Cooley-Tukey FFT方法

The classical Cooley-Tukey fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm has the computational cost of O(Nlog2N) where N is the length of the discrete signal. Spectrum resolution is improved through padding zeros at the tail of the discrete signal, if (p -1)N zeros are padded (where p is an integer) at the tail of the data sequence, the computational cost through FFT becomes O(pNlog2pN). This paper proposes an alternate instance of padding zeros to the data sequence that results in computational cost reduction to O(pNlog2 N). It has been noted that this modification can be used to achieve non-uniform upsampling that would zoom-in or zoom-out a particular frequency band, in addition, it may be used for pruning the spectrum, which would reduce resolution of an unimportant frequency band

Evaluation of dispersion constants for signed-error blind equalization algorithms 带符号误差盲均衡算法的色散常数计算

Blind equalization isatechnique foradaptive equalization ofacommunication channel without theaidoftheusual training sequence. Stochastic gradient based blind equalization algorithms equalize thedispersive signals byexploitingthehigh-order statistics ofthetransmitted signal which areembedded insomepre-calculated constants. These constants, usually termed asdispersion constants, contain the information about thesize, shape andenergy ofthetransmitted signal. Dispersion constants also provide propel' gain oftheequalizer suchthat themeanfluctuation inadaptation process iszero(orminimum). Constant modulus algorithm (CMA)isawidely-stutdied andprobably themost famous blind equalization method in literature andpractice. Inthis work, wecontribute alittle by providing simple formulas forthedispersion constants used inCMAandsigned-error CMAforPAMandQAMsignals.

While manypapers havebeen published describing power-saving techniques, trade-off's between thedifferent design metrics arerarely discussed. Inthis paper, this issue is beingaddressed bymeansofa combined optimization parameter viz, Figure ofMerit (FoM), forevaluating thequality oflogic circuits designed. Thegoalistodecrease thepower consumption andsimultaneously improve the overall FigureofMerit. Sincethepower dissipated bya combinational logic circuit is mainly dictated bytheswitching activities ofall signals associated withthecircuit, themain focus hasbeenonreducing thesignal activities to theminimallevelrequired. A novel mathematical formulation hasalsobeen developed foraunique classification ofgates. Experimental results obtained onthebasis ofthe proposed strategy for0.5-pm CMOStechnology, reportminimization in averagepower consumption byabout36.1%, alongwitha substantial improvement inFoMtothetuneof nearly 45.7%,onanaverage.

This paper addresses recent research and development efforts in constructing wireless real-time chat server/client through GPRS networks. It discusses the server and client system architecture, design, and technologies. The paper demonstrates an application example of real-time chat server/client and addresses the development-time and implementation-time experiences

Comparison of class test integration ordering strategies 类测试集成排序策略的比较

This paper discusses the approaches used for integration testing of object oriented applications that have been modeled in unified modeling language. It explains integration testing and the test design patterns used far integration testing. Integration problems arise due to lack of interoperability among different components. Strategies for class test order for integration testing have been discussed in this paper, as integration test order specifies the estimated cost for developing stubs' and drivers. Semantics for UML diagrams enable the dependency analysis of components for integration testing. Techniques far replacing classes by stubs for breaking cycles among them have been discussed to enable stepwise integration testing.

Linking business models and technical architecture of Web applications using UML profile 使用UML概要文件连接Web应用程序的业务模型和技术体系结构

Current Web modelling languages fail to adequately support the representation of some aspects of Web systems, particularly higher-level information aspects. Among various aspects, the problem of disconnection between business models and technical architectures and also disconnection between functional architecture and information architecture are particularly focus of our work. Earlier, we have presented a UML profile for representing higher-level information aspects: those we believe, can adequately address the problem of disconnection. In this paper we provide guidelines for mapping our UML profile to various other approaches representing business models and functional aspects of business processes at architectural level. Resultantly. it provides an ability of the profile to form bridges between business models and technical architecture besides integrating functional and information architectural aspects.

Slope hold image interpolation using fan filters 斜坡持有图像插值使用风扇滤波器

This paper presents a new method for nonlinear image interpolation. Previous directional interpolation methods only take the edges along a certain direction and then perform interpolation on such images. Our proposed method in its first step decomposes the image into its directional components based on fan filters presented in R.H. Bamberger (1990). These outputs differ from previous methods as it partitions the image based on its global directional features. The second step is to perform 'slope hold interpolation', a new method for image interpolation on all the directional images, and final step is to add all these directionally interpolated images to get the resultant image. Result of processing cameraman image is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm

Previous directional interpolation methods only take the edges along a certain direction and then perform interpolation on such images. Our proposed method in its first step decomposes the image into its directional components based on fan filters presented in R.H. Bamberger (1990). These outputs differ from previous methods as it partitions the image based on its global directional features. The second step is to perform 'slope hold interpolation', a new method for image interpolation on all the directional images, and final step is to add all these directionally interpolated images to get the resultant image. This paper deals with the implementation of globally asynchronous locally synchronous (GALS), micropipelined processor in field programmable gate arrays (FPGA). Associated issues like delay model incorporating on-chip, technology independent single inverter ring oscillator (SIRO) and an unbundled datapath based on bit-encoding and return-to-zero (RTZ) schemes are also presented. Post-layout simulation results are presented to describe the behavior of various sections of the design

Themethod employs Neural Networks (NN)whicharetrained by usingthe spectrograms ofseveral training signals asinput and TFDs thatare highlyconcentrated alongthe instantaneous frequencies oftheindividual components present inthesignal astargets. Thetrained neural network isthenpresented withthespectrogram of unk-nown signals andhighly concentrated TFDsare obtained.
