Effective village governance is an important foundation for sustainable development at the local level. However, many villages in Indonesia, including Sungai Arang Hamlet in Jambi, still face challenges in terms of governance, which can be seen from weak administrative systems, lack of transparency, and low capacity of village officials. This research uses a participatory community service approach which involves a series of activities, including: (1) Identifying village problems and needs through focus group discussions (FGD) and in-depth interviews; (2) Development of standard operating procedures (SOP) for various aspects of village administration; (3) Training and capacity building for village officials regarding SOP implementation; (4) Assistance and monitoring of SOP implementation; and (5) Evaluation of program impact. The research results show a significant improvement in village governance after program implementation. The developed SOPs have helped improve the efficiency and effectiveness of public services, increase transparency and accountability, and strengthen public participation in decision-making. In addition, the capacity of village officials has also increased, reflected in a better understanding of their duties and responsibilities, as well as a better ability to carry out administrative tasks. In conclusion, this community service program has made a positive contribution in strengthening village governance in Sungai Arang Hamlet. Developing SOPs and increasing the capacity of village officials has proven effective in improving the quality of public services, transparency, and accountability. This research recommends that this community service model can be replicated in other villages that have similar problems.

Public administration is a series of activities carried out by the government in order to provide services to the community. The successful implementation of public administration is greatly influenced by the correct understanding and application of public administration concepts. This research aims to increase understanding and application of public administration concepts in the implementation of administration at the Pulau Pekan Village Office, Bungo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia. The method for implementing community service used in this activity is a workshop on strengthening the concept of public administration in the implementation of government administration in Pulau Pekan Village, Bungo Regency, Jambi. The results of the activity show that the understanding and application of public administration concepts at the Pulau Pekan Village Office still needs to be improved. This can be seen from the existence of several problems in administrative implementation, such as a lack of understanding of the principles of public administration, a lack of implementation of standard administrative procedures, and a lack of coordination between work units. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to strengthen the concept of public administration at the Pulau Pekan Village Office. This strengthening can be carried out through various activities, such as training, mentoring, and improving facilities and infrastructure.

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem characterized by a child's height below the standard for his age. Stunting can be caused by various factors, one of which is suboptimal feeding. Education on providing additional food is one of the efforts to prevent stunting. This community service activity aims to provide education about providing additional food to prevent stunting to mothers in Magei Village, West Misool Distrik, Lilinta Health Center Working Area. This activity was carried out from November 1st to 2nd, 2023, involving 86 mothers. Education is provided through lectures and discussions. The material presented includes the meaning of stunting, the factors that cause stunting, and the importance of providing additional food. Participants are also given practice in making additional nutritious food. The results of the activity show that mothers in Magei Village have a good understanding of stunting. After participating in the activity, mothers were also more motivated to provide additional nutritious food to their children.

Anxiety is a common feeling experienced by the elderly, especially due to changes that occur in their lives. Situations such as retirement, loss of a life partner, health problems, and physical limitations can trigger persistent feelings of anxiety. Acupressure is a technique that originates from ancient Chinese medical traditions, which involves applying pressure to specific points on the body using the fingers or special tools. The potential of acupressure in reducing anxiety in the elderly in Hobong Village, Jayapura Regency, Indonesia, is an interesting topic to be explored. The implementation of community service is carried out through 3 stages of the implementation process, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. As many as 100 respondents participated in counseling on the potential of acupressure in reducing anxiety in the elderly. There is an enhancement of knowledge score among respondents after being given counseling about the potential of acupressure in reducing anxiety in the elderly, with p <0.05. The results of the study also showed that there was an increase in attitudes and behavior in choosing acupressure therapy modalities after the counseling process was carried out, with p <0.05. Socialization activities are effective in increasing aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of the elderly in Hobong Village, Jayapura Regency, Indonesia, in choosing the modality of acupressure therapy to reduce anxiety.

The counseling program to strengthen village government capacity building is a systematic effort to increase the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of village government officials and staff. Through this program, they are given training, guidance, and assistance in various aspects of their duties and responsibilities. This community service activity is a comprehensive and real effort from the entire academic community to share knowledge and knowledge related to the effectiveness of capacity building in order to optimize the implementation of a governance-effective government. Community service activities are carried out in the form of workshops and discussions about capacity building in order to optimize the implementation governance effective governance in Rantau Keloyang Village, Bungo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia. This community service activity is quite effective in increasing aspects of the knowledge of village officials regarding aspects of capacity building related to good village governance. This community service activity is a comprehensive and real effort from the entire academic community to share knowledge and knowledge related to the effectiveness of capacity building in order to optimize the implementation of a governance-effective government. Community service activities are carried out in the form of workshops and discussions about capacity building in order to optimize the implementation governance effective governance in Rantau Keloyang Village, Bungo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia. This community service activity is quite effective in increasing aspects of the knowledge of village officials regarding aspects of capacity building related to good village governance. Increasing the knowledge score from an average of 47.86 to 88.35 shows the effectiveness of community service activities to strengthen capacity building through workshops and discussions. The counseling program to strengthen village government capacity building is an important step in improving the quality of government and public services at the village level. The shifting of authority from the central government to regional governments and then extending it to the village level is a challenge but also an opportunity for bureaucrats to serve the community responsively. This condition requires an understanding of ideal and relevant governance in dealing with existing problems. This community service activity is a comprehensive and real effort from the entire academic community to share knowledge and knowledge related to administrative effectiveness and governance. Community service activities are carried out in the form of workshops and discussions about the administrative system in Cermin Alam Hamlet, Tebo Regency, Jambi, Indonesia. This community service activity is quite effective in increasing the knowledge aspect of village officials regarding aspects of village government administration. Depression is one of the most common health problems among inmates at institutions penitentiary (prison) which can be caused by various factors. This depression screening activity aims to detect mental disorders in inmates at the Kerobokan prison so that they can receive treatment immediately before moving on to a more severe phase. The measurement tool used for early detection of depression is the depression anxiety and stress scale (DASS), which has been measured for its validation and reliability. The DASS questionnaire measures the respondent's history of disorders related to depression, anxiety, and stress in the past week. The number of inmates who came to fill out the questionnaire was 96 people. Most are aged 18-40 years, come from outside Bali, have high school-college education, are single, have convict status, do not see their families regularly, and have been in prison for less than 12 months. Most of the inmates are not in a state of depression, anxiety, or stress. In conclusion, mental health screening activities for inmates of the institution penitentiary should be routinely done to prevent more severe mental disorders.
