This research presents a comprehensive examination of the economic climate of Bengkulu, a province on the southwest coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this study combined qualitative and quantitative data collected from a purposive sample of 135 participants, including local business owners, government officials, economic analysts, and residents. This study investigates various economic indicators such as income levels, employment statistics, and sectoral contributions to the regional economy. Employing a hypothetical regression analysis, this study explores the connections between sectoral contributions, employment rates, growth rates, and consumer spending in key sectors such as agriculture, services, mining, and retail and their impact on regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth. The findings reveal a dynamic economic landscape with significant growth observed in certain sectors while also highlighting challenges such as economic inequality and the need for diversified economic strategies. This study not only offers insights into the current economic status and trends in Bengkulu, but also provides critical information for policy-making and strategic planning aimed at promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth in the region.

The paper examines the relationship between entrepreneurship and economic growth, specifically focusing on the role of financial development as a factor that can influence this relationship. The authors employ the panel transition regression (PTR) model to analyze data from 96 countries spanning the years 2003 to 2020. The analysis reveals the presence of a threshold that determines the impact of entrepreneurship on economic growth. In the first regime, characterized by a lower level of financial development, the study finds no statistically significant influence of increased entrepreneurial activities on economic growth. This suggests that below a certain level of financial development, entrepreneurship alone may not contribute significantly to economic growth. However, in the second regime, which corresponds to a higher level of financial development, the study demonstrates a positive effect of increased entrepreneurial activity on economic growth. In this regime, an expansion of entrepreneurial endeavors leads to a beneficial impact on the overall economic growth of a country. These findings imply that there exists a minimum threshold of financial development required before it starts significantly contributing to economic growth. Once this threshold is surpassed, with the presence of adequate financial development, an increase in entrepreneurial activity can have a positive and substantial effect on a country's economic growth.

The Palestine-Israel conflict, commencing on October 7th, has led to significant human and economic repercussions, with Palestine facing dire economic challenges exacerbated by multiple factors, and Israel experiencing disruptions in sectors such as construction. The paper delves into the Economic Peace Leverage Theory (EPLT), positing that economic tools can foster peace and reduce conflicts. The global Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement, aiming to influence Israel's policies towards Palestinians, aligns with EPLT's principles, drawing from historical instances like the South African anti-apartheid struggle. Despite Israel's resilient economy, BDS holds symbolic significance, influencing global narratives. The paper emphasizes that the real impact of BDS lies more in its perceptual influence than economic setbacks for Israel. To harness EPLT's potential and address the root concerns of the BDS movement, a collective global effort is vital. Such collaboration can pave the way for sustained peace and prosperity in the region.

This study aims to analyze the effects of Dividend Policy, Capital Structure, and Profitability on the Firm value in the Consumer Goods sector on the Stock Exchange during the period 2013–2022. Firm size was utilized as a moderating variable. The dependent variable in this research is Firm value (Tobin's Q), whereas the moderating variable is Firm size. The population for this study was drawn from the Consumer Goods sector on the Stock Exchange for the 2013–2022 period. Out of a total population of 51 companies, 31 met the sample criteria. Two research methods were employed: the panel data regression test and the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results from the panel data regression test, using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) method, indicate that, collectively, dividend policy, capital structure, and profitability influence the firm’s value. Individually, both dividend policy and profitability positively influence the firm’s value, while the capital structure variable does not have a significant effect. Moreover, the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) demonstrates that the firm size variable acts as a moderator, influencing the relationships between dividend policy, capital structure, profitability, and firm value.
